Holidays 2008

Happy Holidays!
We hope everyone had a wonderful Hanukkah, Christmas and New Year! We had a great December, celebrating at home and also with family in Texas. Our trip to Texas was delayed because of the winter snow mother nature so gratiously dumped on the city of Seattle. As many of you know, Seattle stops when there's snow. In addition, Alaska Airlines ran out of de-icer which caused days of no service. We were delayed 3 1/2 days but finally made it out on Christmas Eve. We spent the holiday with Connie's parents and family...there was about 20 of us and it was a blast! Steve and I had never seen Owen put on quite a "show" like that before. Anything for a laugh...anything for attention. He was adorable and quite well received I might add!

Owen had his first "zoo" experience at the Ft. Worth Zoo and I think he could have stayed all day long! It was very neat to see everything through his eyes. He also got to go on a carrousel horse ride with Gramma Connie. Very exciting!

Shortly after our return, Beth came up for an extended weekend. This was just prior to the massive rains and floods we had north and south of Seattle...so Beth choose the right weekend to come up! Although it rained a ton while she was here, we had a lot of fun playing and actually got out one day to go to Gymboree!
