On Saturday 5/2, we joined Tanya and Dale at the annual Homeward Pet Auction Dinner. It's a no-kill rescue, shelter, and adoption program here in Seattle. It was quite an event...I can't even guess how much money they raised that night. When the first round of cupcakes went for $600 I knew we were in for a big event. After Tanya and I lost out on tickets to the Ellen Show (they went for 3k over our budget!!), Tanya and Dale bid on and won a night and dinner at the W Hotel in Seattle, and we bid on and won a night, at the Renaissance Hotel with dinner, and tix to the Seattle Art Museum! I am a true supporter of animal rights and look forward to more events like this in the future! http://www.homewardpet.org/
